2. How can I get the Weathernews application on my phone?
The Weathernews application is available to Get It Now customers.
Simply select the "Get It Now" option from the main menu of your phone.
Scroll to the "Get It Now" shopping cart and press SELECT.
Select "Get Going"
Select "Weather"
Select "Weathernews"and choose from the free demo or subscription option highlight the option and press SELECT.
Select "Weather"
Weathernews LogoOnce you have downloaded the Weathernews application, the next time you select Get it Now option, the Weathernews logo will appear on the Get It Now idle screen for you to use at anytime.

3.   How do I save my favorite cities in the Weathernews application?
   

Once you've selected a city to get weather information, pressing SELECT while viewing the weather information will give you the option to save that city into My Weather which is the repository for your favorite cities. You are able to save multiple locations in My Weather. Additionally, when you launch the Weathernews application, those cities saved in My Weather will appear on your handset automatically. To scroll from one city to the other, use the right and left arrow keys. To get more detailed information about a particular city, simply press the down arrow key.

You will see a small triangle with an exclamation point inside it [ Alert Icon] next to the city name at the top of the screen. It appears at the top right of the screen next to the name of the city you are viewing.

Scroll down to the Severe Weather screen and press 1 for more information about the severe weather alert for that city, provided by the National Weather Service.

You will receive an SMS message on your handset. For example, an SMS message will tell you the expected maximum temperature for Phoenix today will reach the temperature threshold you set of 100F. And if you want more information about Phoenix weather conditions, simply launch your Weathernews Application.

This is an AT&T/Motorola T720 phone setting that can be changed easily. To do so, select the "Menu" button between the "Styles" and "mMode" buttons on the first screen you see when you switch your handset on. Next, select the "Settings" icon. Scroll to and select "Java Tools" . Select "Network Access" . Select "Permission/Change" . You have 3 options to choose from. If you don't want to see the "OK to Access Network? Yes/No" screen each time you open the Weathernews application, then select "Never Ask" . You can always return to this setting and change it again, whenever you want to.

    You will receive an SMS message on your handset. For example, an SMS message will tell you the expected maximum temperature for Phoenix today will reach the temperature threshold you set of 100F. And if you want more information about Phoenix weather conditions, simply launch your Weathernews Application.

    Currently, the Weathernews application is available to BREW subscribers on the following phones:

The Weathernews application is available to BREW customers.

   
Select Menu > BREW> Information > "Weather"
Select "Weathernews"
Download it!
    Weathernews Logo

Once you've downloaded the Weathernews application, the next time you select the BREW option, the Weathernews logo will appear on the BREW idle screen ready for you to use at anytime.

3.   How do I save my favorite cities?
   

Once you've selected a city to get weather information, pressing SELECT while viewing the weather information will give you the option to save that city into My Weather which is the repository for your favorite cities. You are able to save multiple locations in My Weather. Additionally, when you launch the Weathernews application, those cities saved in My Weather will appear on your handset automatically. To scroll from one city to the other, use the right and left arrow keys. To get more detailed information about a particular city, simply press the arrow down key.
