Brasília, Brazil, forecast to reach 35°C as warm air builds

Warm air and strong sunshine to raise temperatures
From October 10 to 11, warm air and strong sunshine will combine to raise temperatures across Brazil. At around 1,500 m above ground, warm air of +21°C or higher extends toward Bolivia, continuing to warm areas near the surface. Skies are generally clear, and sunshine is also warming the ground; these conditions are expected to continue.
Outlook for major cities
Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to persist during this period. Brasília is forecast to reach 35°C on October 10 and 11, with low humidity of 14% to 15%, making for hot, dry conditions. Recife is forecast to reach 30–31°C, as warm air does not move into the lower levels. São Paulo is forecast to reach 28–30°C, with weaker sunshine, while Rio de Janeiro is forecast to reach 29°C. None of the three cities is expected to reach 35°C.
Try to limit time outdoors during the day. Take precautions against the heat by drinking fluids regularly and keeping indoor spaces well ventilated.
