Santiago: early rain followed by rising temperatures

Santiago is forecast to have rain at the start of the week, followed by gradual improvement and rising temperatures. Rain is forecast for Thursday, October 22, with a 60% chance and a high of 21°C, and again on Friday, October 23, with a high of 18°C and also a 60% chance. Sunshine is then expected to take over from Saturday, October 24, when the high will be 19°C. On Sunday, October 25, temperatures are forecast to rise sharply to 25°C under sunny skies that later become cloudy, before falling back to 22°C on Monday, October 26, which is expected to be cloudy. Toward the end of the week, sunshine is forecast to predominate again on Tuesday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 28, with highs rebounding to 23°C and 25°C, respectively.

South: rain clearing in Valdivia and a late change in Punta Arenas

In the south, Valdivia starts the week with rain on Thursday, October 22 (17°C, 80% chance), and Friday, October 23 (15°C, 70% chance), before skies gradually clear on Saturday, October 24 (20°C). Sunny, stable conditions are then forecast through Wednesday, October 28, with highs between 18°C and 20°C. Punta Arenas, by contrast, is forecast to remain sunny and dry from Thursday, October 22, through Saturday, October 24, when the high rises to 15°C, and to stay mild on Sunday, October 25. Cloud cover increases on Monday, October 26 (13°C, 40% chance), and rain is forecast to arrive on Tuesday, October 27 (12°C, 60% chance), before sunshine returns on Wednesday, October 28, with a high of 15°C.

Coast: stable, mild weather in Valparaíso

On the coast, Valparaíso is forecast to have a stable week with little variation. On Thursday, October 22, the high reaches 18°C and the low is 14°C, with cloudy skies that later clear. Highs remain at 18°C on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24. On Sunday, October 25, the high rises to 22°C under sunny skies that later become cloudy. On Monday, October 26, the low reaches 17°C, the high is 20°C, and there is a 30% chance of rain. Toward the end of the week, sunshine is forecast to predominate on Tuesday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 28, with highs of 20°C and lows of 16°C and 15°C, respectively.
