Brazil’s Brasília forecast to reach 36°C as warm air moves in

Warm air and strong sunshine raise temperatures
On September 22, warm air and strong sunshine will combine to raise temperatures in Brazil. Air of +21°C or higher is spreading at around 1,500 m above the ground toward Venezuela, continuing to warm areas near the surface. There are few clouds in the sky, and strong sunshine is also continuing to warm the surface. As a result, daytime temperatures are expected to rise easily.
Outlook for various areas
Warm air and strong sunshine will continue during the period. Brasília is expected to reach 36°C on the 22nd, with humidity at 16%, resulting in dry heat. The heat is expected to ease on the 23rd as clouds spread and sunshine weakens, bringing temperatures down to 33°C. Recife will reach 30°C because lower-level warm air is not moving in, while Rio de Janeiro will reach 28°C and São Paulo 24°C. None of these cities is expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going out during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently, and take measures to cope with the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
