Warm air expected to bring Brasília to 36°C

Temperatures to rise with warm air and strong sunshine
From September 29 to October 1, temperatures in Brazil are expected to rise as warm air and strong sunshine combine. At around 1,500 m above the surface, warm air of +21°C or higher is spreading from the Atlantic and will continue warming areas near the surface. In addition, mostly clear skies are allowing solar radiation to warm the surface. This pattern is expected to continue.
Outlook for various cities
Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to continue during this period. Brasília is forecast to reach 36°C from September 29 through October 1, with low humidity of 12% to 15%, bringing dry heat. Rio de Janeiro is expected to range from 26°C to 32°C, while São Paulo will range from 23°C to 31°C. Recife will remain at 30°C to 31°C because warm air is not moving into the lower atmosphere, and none of the cities will reach 35°C.
Please avoid going outdoors during the daytime as much as possible. Drink water frequently and take precautions against the heat, such as ensuring good airflow indoors.
