Central region: sunshine, Sunday heat and Monday rain

The central region will be mostly sunny and dry for the week. Sunshine will continue on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, as temperatures rise. Santiago’s high on Sunday, November 8, is forecast to reach 33 °C, making it a hot day. On Monday, November 9, with a low-pressure system nearby, occasional rain is forecast in some parts of the region, with cloudy skies along part of the coast. Anyone heading out that day should take an umbrella. From Tuesday, November 10, through Thursday, November 12, skies will turn sunny and dry again.

Southern region: sunshine and dry conditions all week

A sunny, dry week is forecast in the southern region, with a low chance of rain from Friday, November 6, through Thursday, November 12. The weekend will bring the same conditions: sunny skies on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8. Sunday, November 8, is set to be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 26 °C in Valdivia. Skies will remain sunny on Monday, November 9, with no rain in the forecast. Highs will dip slightly from Tuesday, November 10, but sunshine will continue through the end of the period.

Far south: variable cloud cover and stable temperatures

In the far south, cloudy days will alternate with days when the sun breaks through occasional clouds over the course of the week. Skies will be cloudy on Friday, November 6, Sunday, November 8, Tuesday, November 10, and Thursday, November 12. On Saturday, November 7, Monday, November 9, and Wednesday, November 11, the sun will peek through occasional clouds. Temperatures will remain within a narrow range, with the highest maximum reaching 16 °C in Punta Arenas on Tuesday, November 10. As a result, cloud cover, rather than temperatures, will account for most of the week’s changes.
