Warm air expected to bring Brasília to 36°C in Brazil

Temperatures to rise as warm air and strong sunshine combine
From September 28 through September 30, temperatures in Brazil are expected to rise as warm air and strong sunshine combine. Warm air of +21°C or higher is spreading from the Atlantic around 1,500 m above the ground and continues to warm areas near the surface. In addition, few clouds are expected, allowing strong sunshine to continue warming the surface. This situation is expected to continue.
Regional outlook
During this period, warm air and strong sunshine are expected to continue. Brasília is forecast to reach 36°C from the 28th through the 30th, while humidity will be low at 12% to 17%, resulting in dry heat. São Paulo will see 30–33°C, Rio de Janeiro 26–30°C, and Recife 29–30°C because warm air is not expected to enter the lower atmosphere; none of these cities is expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going outdoors during the daytime as much as possible. Drink water frequently and take measures against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
