Hanoi forecast to reach 35°C under high pressure aloft

Temperatures to rise as a ridge of high pressure aloft builds
From October 24 to 25, temperatures are expected to rise in Vietnam as high pressure aloft combines with strong sunshine. At around 5,000 m, a ridge of high pressure is more pronounced than in surrounding areas, making cloud formation less likely. Skies are expected to remain mostly clear, allowing sunshine to warm the ground, and this pattern is expected to continue.
Outlook by city
Strong sunshine is expected to persist throughout the period under the influence of high pressure aloft. Warm air is also expected to flow into Hanoi, where temperatures are forecast to reach 35°C, with humidity at 50% to 51%, from October 24 to 25. By contrast, temperatures in Ho Chi Minh City are forecast at 32–33°C and 32°C in Da Nang; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
Avoid going outdoors during the day as much as possible. Drink fluids regularly and take steps to stay cool, such as keeping indoor spaces well ventilated.
