This week’s weather forecast: rain in the north, then sunshine

Calm start to the week, with the first rain in Lille

Rain will set in as early as Thursday, October 22, in Lille, with a high probability of rain and a high of 14°C.

Weather system from Friday to Sunday

From Friday, October 23, through Sunday, October 25, a weather system will mainly affect northern and western France. A low-pressure system will remain nearly stationary over Lille and Paris on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, bringing cloudy skies followed by rain, with temperatures around 12 to 14°C. A cold front will affect Lyon and Marseille on Friday, October 23; skies will remain sunny, with temperatures of 17°C and 21°C, respectively. A low-pressure system will then cross the region on Saturday, October 24, bringing passing rain to Lyon (14°C), while Marseille stays dry at 18°C. On Sunday, October 25, rain will affect all four cities: Lille and Paris will see rain followed by sunshine (14°C and 15°C), Lyon will have intermittent rain (14°C), and rain will be more limited in Marseille (20°C).

Sunshine returns and temperatures rise

Temperatures will rise markedly on Tuesday, October 27, reaching 16°C in Lille, 18°C in Paris, 17°C in Lyon and 20°C in Marseille, confirming a significant spell of milder weather at the end of an unsettled week.
