Warm Air Aloft to Raise Temperatures

On October 26, temperatures across Indonesia are expected to rise under the influence of warm air. Warm air of +18°C or higher at around 1,500 m is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean and continues to warm areas near the surface, making daytime temperatures more likely to climb.

Forecast for Major Cities

Warm air is expected to persist during the period. Surabaya is forecast to reach 35°C on the 26th, with humidity at 49%. In contrast, lower-level warm air is not expected to move into Jakarta, where temperatures are forecast at 32°C. Denpasar is also forecast to reach 32°C, with neither city expected to reach 35°C.

Please limit outdoor activities during the day as much as possible. Take precautions against the heat by drinking water regularly and keeping indoor spaces well ventilated.
