Bangkok in Thailand forecast to reach 35°C under strong sunshine

Warm air and strong sunshine to raise temperatures
On October 27, temperatures in Thailand are forecast to rise as strong sunshine combines with warm air. Skies will be mostly clear, and sunshine is warming the surface. Warm air of +18°C or higher around 1,500 m is spreading widely from the South China Sea and continuing to warm the air near the surface, making daytime temperatures more likely to rise.
Outlook for major cities
Strong sunshine and warm air are expected to persist during the period. Bangkok is forecast to reach 35°C on the 27th, with humidity at 55%. Chiang Mai is forecast to reach 33°C, while Phuket, where sunshine will be weaker, is forecast to reach 29°C. Neither is expected to reach 35°C.
People should limit outdoor activities during the day as much as possible. To cope with the heat, they should drink water regularly and keep indoor spaces well ventilated.
