Warm air to push temperatures in Surabaya, Indonesia, to 36°C

Warm air and strong sunshine to raise temperatures
From October 29 to November 5, warm air and strong sunshine are expected to combine to raise temperatures in Indonesia. Warm air of at least +18°C is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean at around 1,500 m above ground, continuing to warm areas near the surface. There are also expected to be fewer clouds, adding to the effects of sunshine. These conditions are expected to continue.
Outlook for major cities
Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to persist during this period. Surabaya is forecast to reach 36°C from October 29 to November 5, with humidity of 49% to 54%. Temperatures are forecast at 31–34°C in Denpasar and 31–32°C in Jakarta, both below 35°C.
Limit time outdoors during the day as much as possible. Drink fluids regularly and take precautions against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
