Strong sunshine expected to bring temperatures in Chennai to 36°C

Temperatures to rise with warm air and strong sunshine
From September 25 to September 28, temperatures are expected to rise across India as strong sunshine combines with warm air. Skies will be generally clear, allowing sunlight to warm the Earth's surface. In addition, warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the Arabian Sea at around 1,500 m above the surface, continuing to warm areas near the ground. This pattern is expected to continue for some time.
Outlook for various areas
Strong sunshine and warm air are expected to continue throughout the period. Chennai is forecast to reach 36°C from September 25 to September 28, with humidity of 52% to 57%. Delhi is forecast to reach 35°C on September 25, with humidity at a low 41%, resulting in dry heat. Mumbai is expected to reach 31–32°C, while Lucknow is expected to reach 25–29°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going outdoors during the day whenever possible. Drink water frequently and take precautions against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
