Strong sunshine puts Mumbai, India, on track for 37°C

Temperatures to rise as strong sunshine persists for eight days
From October 9 to 16, strong sunshine and warm air are expected to combine to raise temperatures across India. Skies are expected to have little cloud cover, with strong sunshine continuing to warm the ground. In addition, warm air of +18°C or higher at around 1,500 m is spreading over a broad area from the Arabian Sea, continuing to warm the air near the surface. This pattern is expected to continue.
