Mumbai, India, forecast to reach 37°C amid strong sunshine

Temperatures set to rise as warm air combines with strong sunshine
From October 10 to 17, temperatures across India are expected to rise as strong sunshine combines with warm air. Skies are expected to remain mostly clear, allowing strong sunshine to continue warming the ground. A broad mass of warm air from the Arabian Sea, with temperatures of +18°C or higher at around 1,500 m, is expected to continue warming the air near the surface.
Outlook for major cities
Strong sunshine and warm air are expected to persist throughout the period. Mumbai is forecast to reach 37°C from October 10 to 17, with humidity of 41% to 52%. Delhi is expected to reach 33–34°C, Chennai 33°C and Lucknow 31–32°C; none is forecast to reach 35°C.
People are advised to avoid going outdoors during the day as much as possible. Take precautions against the heat, such as drinking fluids regularly and keeping indoor spaces well ventilated.
