Mumbai, India, forecast to reach 36°C amid strong sunshine

Warm air and strong sunshine to raise temperatures
From October 22 to October 28, temperatures across India are expected to rise as strong sunshine combines with warm air. Skies are expected to be mostly clear, allowing sunshine to warm the ground. Warm air of +18°C or higher at around 1,500 m is also spreading widely from the Arabian Sea, continuing to warm areas near the surface. These conditions are expected to persist.
Outlook for cities
Strong sunshine and warm air are expected to continue during the period. Mumbai is forecast to reach 36°C from October 22 to 28, with humidity between 37% and 48%. Temperatures are expected to be 32–34°C in Delhi, 30–33°C in Chennai, where sunshine will be weaker, and 31–32°C in Lucknow. None of the cities is expected to reach 35°C.
Limit outdoor activities during the day as much as possible. Drink water regularly and take steps to cope with the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
