Strong sunshine expected to raise temperatures in Jakarta, Indonesia, to 35°C

Temperatures to rise with warm air and strong sunshine
On September 14, strong sunshine and warm air will combine to raise temperatures in Indonesia. Skies will be mostly clear, allowing sunshine to warm the surface, while warm air of +18°C or higher around 1,500 m aloft is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean and continuing to warm areas near the surface. As a result, daytime temperatures are expected to rise more easily.
Outlook for various areas
During this period, strong sunshine and warm air will continue. Jakarta is expected to reach 35°C on the 14th, with humidity at 43%, making for dry heat. Meanwhile, Surabaya is expected to reach 34°C and Denpasar 31°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
Avoid going out during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently and take precautions against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
