Temperatures to rise due to warm air aloft
On September 13, temperatures in Indonesia are expected to rise under the influence of warm air aloft. Warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean at around 1,500 m above the ground and continuing to warm areas near the surface, making daytime temperatures more likely to rise.
Outlook for various locations
Warm air will persist during the period. Jakarta is expected to reach 35°C on the 13th, and humidity will be low at 38%, resulting in dry heat. Surabaya is expected to reach 34°C and Denpasar 32°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going outside during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently and improve ventilation indoors, and take measures to protect yourself from the heat.
