Warm air expected to bring Surabaya to 35°C

Heat intensifies from September 23 as strong sunshine adds to the warmth
From September 22 to September 23, temperatures in Indonesia are expected to rise as warm air combines with strong sunshine. At around 1,500 m above the surface, warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading broadly from the Indian Ocean, continuing to warm areas near the surface, while relatively few clouds are also allowing the effects of sunshine to add to the heat. This pattern is expected to continue.
Outlook for various areas
Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to continue during this period. Surabaya is forecast to reach 35°C from the 22nd through the 23rd, with humidity at 46%. Jakarta and Denpasar are both forecast to reach 32°C, and neither is expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going outdoors during the day as much as possible. Drink fluids frequently and take measures to protect yourself from the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
