Warm air expected to bring Jakarta to 35°C in Indonesia

Temperatures to rise due to warm air and strong sunshine
On September 24, warm air and strong sunshine are expected to combine to raise temperatures in Indonesia. Warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely around 1,500 m above the Indian Ocean and continues to warm areas near the surface. With relatively few clouds and the added effects of sunshine, daytime temperatures are likely to rise.
Outlook for various areas
Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to continue during this period. Jakarta is forecast to reach 35°C with 45% humidity on the 24th. Meanwhile, sunshine will be weaker in Surabaya, where 33°C is forecast, while Denpasar is also forecast to reach 33°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going out during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently and take precautions against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
