Temperatures to Rise as Warm Air and Strong Sunshine Combine

On September 25, temperatures are expected to rise in Indonesia as warm air and strong sunshine combine. At around 1,500 m above the surface, warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean and continues to warm areas near the surface. Cloud cover is also expected to be limited, and the effects of solar radiation will add to this, making temperatures likely to rise during the day.

Outlook for Various Locations

Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to continue during this period. In Jakarta, temperatures are forecast to reach 35°C on September 25, with humidity at 49%. Surabaya is forecast to reach 34°C and Denpasar 33°C, so neither is expected to reach 35°C.

Please avoid going outside during the daytime as much as possible. Drink water frequently, and take precautions against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
