Temperatures to Rise Due to Warm Air and Strong Sunshine

From September 28 to 29, temperatures in Indonesia are expected to rise as strong sunshine combines with warm air. Skies will be mostly clear, and sunshine is warming the surface. At around 1,500 m aloft, warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean and continuing to warm areas near the surface. This pattern is expected to continue.

Outlook for Various Areas

During the period, strong sunshine and warm air will continue. Surabaya is forecast to reach 35°C from the 28th to 29th, with humidity of 50% to 51%. Jakarta is forecast to reach 33°C, while Denpasar is expected to reach 32–33°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
