Warm air expected to bring temperatures to 35°C in Surabaya, Indonesia

Warm air and strong sunlight to raise temperatures
From October 4 to October 8, temperatures are expected to rise in Indonesia as warm air combines with strong sunlight. Warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean at around 1,500 m above ground, continuing to warm areas near the surface. With few clouds, the effects of sunlight are also contributing, and these conditions are expected to continue.
Outlook for areas
Warm air and strong sunlight are expected to persist during this period. In Surabaya, temperatures are forecast to reach 35°C from the 4th to the 8th, with humidity ranging from 45% to 49%. The heat in Surabaya is expected to ease on the 9th as clouds spread and sunlight weakens, with temperatures falling to 33°C. By contrast, temperatures are forecast at 32–33°C in Jakarta and 32°C in Denpasar, below 35°C in both cities.
Please limit time outdoors during the day as much as possible. Take precautions against the heat by drinking water regularly and improving ventilation indoors.
