Surabaya, Indonesia, forecast to reach 37°C amid strong sunshine

Temperatures to rise as strong sunshine continues for 8 days
From October 13 to October 20, strong sunshine and warm air are expected to combine to raise temperatures across Indonesia. Skies will be mostly clear, allowing sunshine to warm the ground. At around 1,500 m, air at +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the Indian Ocean and continues to warm areas near the surface. This pattern is expected to continue.
Outlook for major cities
Strong sunshine and warm air are expected to persist throughout the period. In Surabaya, temperatures are forecast to reach 37°C from the 13th to the 20th, with humidity between 36% and 47%. In Jakarta, temperatures are forecast to reach 35°C on the 17th, with humidity at 45%. Denpasar, meanwhile, is forecast to see temperatures of 33–34°C, below 35°C.
Avoid going outdoors during the day as much as possible. Take steps to cope with the heat, such as drinking water regularly and keeping indoor spaces well ventilated.
