Warm air expected to bring Monterrey, Mexico, to 37°C

Temperatures to rise with warm air and strong sunshine
From September 11 to September 17, temperatures are expected to rise in Mexico as warm air and strong sunshine combine. At around 1,500 m above the surface, air at +21°C or higher is spreading widely from the Pacific and continuing to warm areas near the surface. Skies are expected to be generally clear, with strong sunshine, and this pattern is expected to continue.
Outlook for different areas
Warm air and strong sunshine will continue during this period. Monterrey will also be covered by high pressure aloft, with temperatures expected to reach 37°C from the 11th through the 17th. Humidity will be low, at 27% to 42%, resulting in dry heat. The temperature is expected to fall to 34°C on the 18th as clouds spread and sunshine weakens. Meanwhile, Guadalajara is expected to see 25–28°C and Mexico City 22–23°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going outdoors during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently, and take precautions against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
