Temperatures to rise due to warm air and strong sunshine

On September 15, temperatures in Mexico are expected to rise as warm air combines with strong sunshine. At around 1,500 m above the ground, warm air of +21°C or higher is spreading widely from the Pacific and continuing to warm areas near the surface. Skies will be mostly clear, and sunshine will warm the surface, so daytime temperatures are likely to rise.

Outlook for different areas

Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to continue during this period. Monterrey will also be covered by high pressure at the surface, and temperatures are forecast to rise to 36°C on September 15. Humidity will be 26%, resulting in dry heat. Guadalajara will reach 26°C and Mexico City 23°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.

Please avoid going outdoors during the daytime as much as possible. Drink fluids frequently, keep indoor air circulating, and take steps to protect yourself from the heat.
