Temperatures to rise due to warm air and strong sunshine

In Mexico on September 22, temperatures are expected to rise as strong sunshine combines with warm air. Skies will be generally clear, and the sunlight is warming the Earth's surface. At around 1,500 m above the ground, air warmer than +21°C is spreading widely from the Pacific, continuing to warm areas near the surface. As a result, daytime temperatures are expected to rise more easily.

Outlook for various areas

Strong sunshine and warm air will continue during this period. Monterrey is expected to reach 35°C on the 22nd, and with humidity also low at 40%, the heat will be dry. Clouds are expected to spread on the 23rd, weakening the sunshine, so Monterrey's high is expected to fall to 34°C. Guadalajara is expected to reach 27°C and Mexico City 24°C, neither reaching 35°C.

Please avoid going outside during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently and take precautions against the heat, such as improving airflow indoors.
