Temperatures to rise with warm air and strong sunshine

On September 21, warm air and strong solar radiation will combine to raise temperatures in Mexico. Air at or above +21°C around 1,500 m aloft is spreading widely from the Pacific and continues to warm the area near the surface. Skies are expected to be generally clear, allowing sunlight to warm the surface and making daytime temperatures likely to rise.

Warm air and strong sunshine will continue during the period. Monterrey is forecast to reach 35°C on the 21st, with humidity at 31%, making for dry heat. Guadalajara is forecast at 27°C and Mexico City at 25°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.
