Temperatures to rise as warm air moves overhead

On September 29, temperatures in Mexico are expected to rise under the influence of warm air. At around 1,500 m above sea level, air at +21°C or higher is spreading widely from the Pacific and is expected to continue warming areas near the surface, making daytime temperatures likely to rise.

Outlook for various areas

Warm air is expected to persist throughout the period. Monterrey is forecast to reach 35°C on the 29th, with humidity expected to be 50%. Guadalajara, meanwhile, is forecast at 29°C and Mexico City at 24°C, with neither expected to reach 35°C.

Please avoid going outside during the daytime as much as possible. Drink water frequently, and take precautions against the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
