Manila sunny through Friday, rain at the weekend

Manila is forecast to stay sunny from Monday, October 26 through Friday the 30th, with daily highs of 33°C, reaching 34°C on Friday, and daily lows of 26°C. Rain enters the forecast at the weekend: Saturday the 31st is sunny then rain, and Sunday, November 1 is sunny with occasional rain.

Outdoor work in the city is best planned for the first five days of the week. Weekend plans should allow for rain on both days, so an umbrella is worth carrying from Saturday.

Davao and Cebu turn wetter from Friday

Cebu is mostly sunny early in the week, Davao sees showers at times, and both cities turn wetter from Friday. Cebu is sunny from Monday the 26th through Thursday the 29th. Davao is sunny with occasional rain on Tuesday the 27th, as a low-pressure system moves east.

Cebu then has rain with occasional sun on Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st. Davao is sunny then rain on Friday the 30th, and Saturday the 31st is its wettest day of the week, with rain and occasional sun. On Sunday the 1st Cebu returns to sunshine, while Davao is sunny then rain. Daily highs in both cities stay between 29°C and 32°C.

Baguio: sun then rain, with cooler days ahead

Baguio is forecast to see sunshine give way to rain on most days, from Monday the 26th to Friday the 30th, with Saturday the 31st sunny with occasional rain and Sunday the 1st sunny then rain. Carrying rain gear is sensible throughout the week.

It also turns cooler in the highlands. Daily highs ease from 25°C on Monday the 26th and Tuesday the 27th to 24°C on Wednesday the 28th, 23°C on Thursday the 29th and Friday the 30th, and 22°C on Saturday the 31st and Sunday the 1st. Daily lows slip from 17°C early in the week to 16°C on Thursday the 29th, 15°C on Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st, and 14°C on Sunday the 1st.
