Times When You May Need an Umbrella

Rain is forecast in Seoul with an 80% chance of precipitation at 3 p.m. and again at 6 p.m., so it is a good idea to bring an umbrella. An umbrella may not be essential in Busan, where the chance of precipitation is 10% on the 30th, or in Gangneung and Jeju, where it is 20%. However, the chance of precipitation in Gangneung and Jeju is 40% at 9 p.m., so consider bringing an umbrella if you go out at that time. Given Seoul’s high chance of precipitation, carrying a compact folding umbrella may be helpful.
