October 17–18: Rain patterns vary by city

On Saturday, October 17, Seoul, Busan, Gangneung and Jeju are forecast to have clear or occasionally cloudy skies, with precipitation chances of 10–20%. October 19–21: Higher precipitation chances in Busan and Jeju than in Seoul and Gangneung

Precipitation chances will differ markedly by city from Monday, October 19, through Wednesday, October 21. Busan is forecast to have rain with occasional breaks on the 19th (80%), rain on the 20th (90%), and clear skies with occasional rain on the 21st (60%). Jeju is forecast to be occasionally cloudy with heavy rain and storms on the 19th (80%), cloudy with occasional rain on the 20th (70%), and clear with occasional rain on the 21st (60%), at similar levels. Chances will be lower in Seoul, at 20%, 20% and 10%, respectively, and in Gangneung, at 50%, 30% and 10%. Daytime highs will range from 15–21°C in Seoul, 21–23°C in Busan, 17–22°C in Gangneung and 21–23°C in Jeju.

October 22–23: Clear skies and low precipitation chances in all four cities

Clear skies and a 10% precipitation chance are forecast for Seoul, Busan, Gangneung and Jeju on Thursday, October 22, and Friday, October 23. Morning lows on Thursday will be 7°C in Seoul, 9°C in Busan, 7°C in Gangneung and 14°C in Jeju. On Friday, lows will be 9°C in Seoul, 12°C in Busan, 9°C in Gangneung and 17°C in Jeju. Daytime highs will vary by date, ranging from 17–21°C in Seoul, 20–23°C in Busan, 17–20°C in Gangneung and 19–22°C in Jeju.
