Northern Taiwan: Stable, sunny weather; good conditions for weekend outings

Northern Taiwan is forecast to be mostly sunny from Friday, October 30, through Thursday, November 5. The chance of rain will generally remain low at 10%. The exception is Monday, November 2, when conditions will be sunny with periods of cloud and the chance of rain will rise to 20%, still a relatively low level. The chance of rain will return to a low 10% from Tuesday, November 3, through Thursday, November 5. Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, will both be sunny, with weather having little impact on outdoor plans. Taipei's high on Sunday, November 1, is forecast to reach 32°C, making it a relatively warm day in northern Taiwan this week.

Central and southern Taiwan: Seven consecutive sunny days with little rain

Central and southern Taiwan are forecast to be sunny every day from Friday, October 30, through Thursday, November 5, with the chance of rain staying low at 10%. The weather will also be sunny and stable over the weekend, October 31 and November 1, so rain is unlikely to affect plans. Friday, October 30, and Monday, November 2, on either side of the weekend, will also be sunny. Kaohsiung's high on Monday, November 2, is forecast to reach 31°C, making it one of the warmer days there this week. Highs will dip slightly from Tuesday, November 3, onward, while Thursday, November 5, will remain sunny.

Eastern Taiwan: Sunny over the weekend, turning rainy from November 2

Eastern Taiwan will be sunny in the first half of the week, with rain expected from Monday, November 2. From Friday, October 30, through Sunday, November 1, conditions will be sunny, with occasional clouds; weekend weather will be favorable, with little impact on outdoor plans. On Monday, November 2, conditions will turn from sunny to rainy as a cold front extends across nearby areas. Rain will let up at times on Tuesday, November 3, and there will continue to be a chance of rain on Wednesday, November 4, and Thursday, November 5, with less rainfall. Bring rain gear when going out from November 2. Hualien's high on Tuesday, November 3, is forecast to be 23°C, lower than on Monday, November 2.
