Temperatures to Rise as Warm Air Moves Aloft

On September 24, temperatures in Thailand are expected to rise under the influence of warm air. Warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the South China Sea at around 1,500 m above the ground, continuing to warm areas near the surface. As a result, daytime temperatures are expected to rise more easily.

Outlook for Various Areas

Warm air is expected to persist during the period. Bangkok is forecast to reach 35°C on the 24th, with humidity also high at 65%, making conditions hot and humid. Chiang Mai will reach 34°C, and Phuket 32°C; neither is expected to reach 35°C.

Please avoid going outside during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently, and take measures to protect yourself from the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
