Warm air brings Bangkok temperatures up to 35°C in Thailand

Temperatures rise as warm air aloft moves in
On October 4, temperatures in Thailand are expected to rise under the influence of warm air. Air warmer than +18°C is spreading widely from the South China Sea at around 1,500 m above the ground and continuing to warm the air near the surface, making daytime temperatures more likely to rise.
Outlook across the region
Warm air is expected to continue covering the area throughout the period. Bangkok is forecast to reach 35°C on October 4, and with humidity also high at 64%, conditions are expected to be muggy. Meanwhile, Phuket is forecast to reach 33°C and Chiang Mai 32°C, with neither expected to reach 35°C.
Please avoid going out during the daytime as much as possible. Drink water frequently, and indoors, improve ventilation and take other measures to protect yourself from the heat.
