Strong sunshine expected to bring Hanoi, Vietnam, to 35°C

Temperatures expected to rise as high pressure aloft builds in
From September 21 to September 22, temperatures are expected to rise in Vietnam as strong sunshine coincides with high pressure aloft. Skies are expected to be generally clear, with sunshine warming the surface. Around 5,000 m aloft, a high-pressure ridge is also expected to extend slightly, and this pattern is expected to continue.
Outlook for each area
Strong sunshine and high pressure aloft are expected to continue throughout the period. Hanoi is also expected to receive an influx of warm air and is forecast to reach 35°C from September 21 through September 22, with humidity forecast at 59%. In contrast, sunshine is expected to be weaker in Ho Chi Minh City, where temperatures are forecast to reach 32–33°C. In Da Nang, the high-pressure ridge aloft is expected to be weaker, with temperatures forecast at 31°C; neither location is expected to reach 35°C.
Avoid going outdoors during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently and take precautions against the heat, such as ensuring good ventilation indoors.
