Temperatures expected to rise with warm air and strong sunshine

On September 30, temperatures in Vietnam are expected to rise as strong sunshine combines with warm air. Skies are expected to have few clouds, and strong sunshine continues to warm the surface. Warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely around 1,500 m above the ground from the South China Sea, warming areas near the surface. As a result, daytime temperatures are expected to rise.

Outlook for various areas

Strong sunshine and warm air are expected to continue during the period. Hanoi will also be under high pressure aloft and is forecast to reach 36°C on the 30th, with humidity at 53%. Da Nang is forecast to reach 34°C, while Ho Chi Minh City will have weaker sunshine and reach 32°C; none of the three cities is expected to reach 35°C.

Please avoid going out during the day as much as possible. Drink water frequently and take measures to protect yourself from the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
