Bangkok, Thailand, forecast to reach 35°C as warm air sets in

Warm air and strong sunshine to push temperatures higher
From November 8 to 9, temperatures are expected to rise in Thailand as warm air combines with strong sunshine. Warm air of at least +18°C is spreading widely from the South China Sea at around 1,500 m above the ground, continuing to warm areas near the surface. With relatively few clouds and the effects of sunshine, this pattern is expected to continue.
Forecast for different areas
Warm air and strong sunshine are expected to persist during this period. Bangkok is forecast to reach 35°C from November 8 to 9, with humidity at 57% to 58%. Temperatures in Bangkok are expected to fall to 33°C on November 10 as the warm air around 1,500 m weakens. Sunshine will be weaker in Phuket, where temperatures are forecast at 32–33°C; Chiang Mai is expected to see 29–30°C. Neither city is forecast to reach 35°C.
Limit outdoor activity during the day as much as possible. Drink fluids regularly and take steps to cope with the heat, such as improving ventilation indoors.
