Strong sunshine to push Mumbai temperatures to 36°C

Temperatures to rise as strong sunshine continues for three days
From October 26 to 28, strong sunshine and warm air are expected to combine to raise temperatures across India. Skies will have few clouds, allowing strong sunshine to continue warming the ground. At around 1,500 m, warm air of +18°C or higher is spreading widely from the Arabian Sea and is expected to continue warming areas near the surface.
Outlook for major cities
Strong sunshine and warm air are expected to persist throughout the period. Mumbai is forecast to reach 36°C from the 26th to the 28th, with low humidity of 32% to 36%, making for dry heat. By contrast, temperatures are forecast to reach 32–33°C in Chennai, 31–32°C in Lucknow and 31°C in Delhi, all below 35°C.
Please limit outdoor activities during the day as much as possible. Take precautions against the heat, such as drinking water regularly and keeping indoor spaces well ventilated.
